Will Donaire’s quest for greatness start from here?

Dubbed as Pinoy Power 2, the current Filipino IBF and IBO flyweight champion will fight for the WBA interim super-flyweight title against the same guy who defeated fellow Filipino AJ “Bazooka” Banal and who gave Jorge “El Travieso” Arce one tough fight.

Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire (21-1, 14 KOs) will face Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion (13-3-1, 8 KOs) at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this coming Saturday, August 15, 2009.

Fighting in the undercard of the Donaire-Concepcion bout is another Filipino prospect Bernabe Concepcion as he vies for the WBO featherweight title of Steven Luevano.
